Future of Gaming: Community Led, First, Always.
Tribes Studio will change how games are made forever. Together.
Growing up as a gamer, in a small town in Northern Ireland, I never could have imagined how gaming would evolve into what we have today, and what we believe it will become.
That world was pre-internet, blowing dust from your game cartridges (or spooling them on cassette!) was the norm, and when we played games it was with a max of two players. That said, don’t feel too bad for us - we were playing games where an Italian Plumber could eat a leaf and turn into a flying raccoon, or a ring obsessed hedgehog could break a sound barrier… good times! Time would pass, and I would grow to learn and love online worlds like Azeroth, where every village character could become the hero. I would get up before going to work, and collect Netherwing eggs for quests to get rare flying mounts, so I could flex with that beautiful creature flying through the skies. I would meet online and play for hours with people I never met, but truly considered friends.
Fast-forward to the world that we’re living in today, Communities have formed to become a core component of the gaming experience, where people from all over the world can engage together. They share amazing insights, and a desire to have deeper experiences and influence on their favourite games.
It’s an incredibly exciting today, and we’re going to make it an awesome tomorrow.
What if you had the opportunity to influence the world of that Plumber, or said spiky blue Hedgehog… what if you could write a story of lore, or design a quest. What if you could design characters, weapons, spells, potions, and contribute to building a World together as a part of an active and engaged community.
You could even receive rewards and recognition for not only contributing to the game experience, but the community experience too.
Our simple belief is that Building Together with our Community will be an all new type of immersive gaming experience. We’ll have a safe and inclusive home for gamers to be themselves, where you will have the ability to write and publish content, engage with friends, where you can join residency programmes run by Industry Experts for Lore, Art, and Game Assets. A place that you can also happily contribute and be rewarded for this, regardless of how big or small the engagement (a thumbs up on an article could mean the world to it’s creator). We also believe you should be able to own the digital items you purchase and receive, and be able to use them across our gaming world.
Our humble mission is to build such a World, together with an incredible community of gamers. Introducing Tribesters.
Stay tuned for more announcements, and opportunities to join us on our mission.
I remember, I was age 7 playing on classic Saga Console two player mode with my younger brother on a 32inch TV that weighted about ... oh idk a metric ton hahaha 😆. I actually miss those days especially due to, come on sad moving day the gaming 📦 was apparently "lost in transit" .. that was the day my brother and I grew devil horns hahaha 😆. There may or may not have been an incident of dog no.2s smeared in a driver's aircon that day 🤣. Young dumb and a belting to come 😅😂, was worth every lashing.
